Moon Fairy

The Moon Fairy is inspired by a fairy silhouette I’ve printed a long time ago when I tried silk screen printing. How I wish they are real so someone would stand up for our forests and coral reefs! But the thing is, I’ve realized we are our own fairies. Along with God, we make things happen and live our dreams. Without him, we still make things happen. However, most of the time, we end up with our nightmares.

Squiddy Squidoo

Squiddy Squidoo is inspired by the Squidoo logo. I stamped it with my signature style by adding the hair and huge eye. The color palette is based on the standard colors of Squidoo – orange and blue. She raises a glass to Squidoo. This is my way of saying, “Thank you, Squidoo, for giving me a chance to earn a living while staying at home to take care of my baby.”

(At first I did not understand it. Why was everybody congratulating me on my TBA? I googled TBA but got no response that satisfied me. Until, I saw the red medal. I checked it out and finally understood what TBA meant: TODAY'S BEST AWARD! My Squiddy Squidoo t-shirt won TBA last April 28, 2011!)

A Beautiful Bride

When I was younger I dreamed of fairy tale weddings. I imagined myself being wed above a flowing river. We'll build a bridge over a river and hold the ceremony there. During the ceremony, flower girls will sprinkle flowers in the water adding to the romantic setting. Then we'll have our feast by the riverside and later on, we'll all take a dip in the river.

But I got my heart broken to many a time that I lost the drive to make the dream a reality. When I finally settled down, I didn't even walk down the aisle. But someday, I will.
